I made a new job like this right at the change-over to the new authentication, but the problem I have is that the job at delicious is just not running. No progress on teh ticket I opened.

Sorry to hear that, looks like the tool Dave mentioned is about your best option.
Although initially so did I (create a job like this), and bizarrely it took a few days to settle down, although this may well not be the case for you
Not sure if the transition was done in a phased manner and that for a short while both authentication methods were running concurrently (for XML-RPC).
However I finally 'nailed' this by creating multiple jobs (with alternate authentication credentials) and weeding out the ones which weren't working.
Finally got a stable version, well at least for a few days, at the moment I'm still expecting it to break, once it's run for a couple of weeks I'll be a lot happier.
